Fortnite Pro Tfue Tries to Hide Evidence After Saying N-Word – CCN Markets
Professional Fortnite player and Twitch streamer Tfue got caught saying the n-word during a stream. The streamer scrambled to delete the evidence that he said the racial slur, but not before viewers were able to expose the racist language.
The LivestreamFail subreddit, a community that chronicles funny and controversial streamer moments, exposed the damning Twitch clip from a Tfue Minecraft stream.
As Tfue attacks Minecraft enemies, reeling off several expletives, the streamer says “y’all motherf—ers killed that n—-r!”
The streamer doesn’t seem to care – or even realize – what he’s just said. He keeps going, dropping more curse words to describe the Minecraft characters.
Tfue Tries & Fails to Delete Video of Racial Slur
Viewers were quick to pick up on Tfue’s use of the racial slur, and the post containing the Twitch clip version of the video has more than 800 points and nearly 400 comments on LivestreamFail.
However, the Twitch clip wasn’t available for long. Tfue quickly deleted the video on demand (VOD) version of the stream to stop people from viewing published clips or making new ones.
The streamer’s efforts failed to cover his tracks, however. LivestreamFail makes mirrored versions of videos, saving the footage and hosting clips on another site because of how often this sort of thing happens.
Other streamers and gaming content creators to have been caught dropping the n-word are Fortnite and Minecraft streamer Ninja, and YouTuber PewDiePie, who has been part of several racist scandals.
Will Twitch Punish Tfue for Using Racial Slur in Minecraft Stream?
The frequency of these incidents has some Reddit users questioning whether Tfue will face any punishment from the Twitch moderation team.
Using racial slurs is a violation of Twitch rules, but with Tfue doing his best to hide evidence and with Twitch failing to hand down bans for other violations – such as Alinity’s animal abuse scandal – the mood on Reddit seems to be that Tfue will probably get away with it.
